Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot In the morning after breakfast, drive to Yamunotri. From here start your trek (either on foot or by horse or by doli at your own cost) to Yamunotri (6 km). After reaching Yamunotri, take a bath in the hot water of Surya Kund (hot spring). Enjoy the darshan of "Yamunaji". Later proceed towards Barkot. Overnight stay will be at Barkot. Barkot-Uttarakashi Rest for some time after breakfast in the morning. Later drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Shiva cave on the way to Uttarkashi. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. After that check in at the hotel. Day free for rest. Overnight stay will be in Uttarkashi. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner)
Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi In the morning after breakfast drive to Gangotri. En route visit Gangnani Hot Spring. Take a holy bath in the pond. Later drive through the beautiful Harshil Valley to Gangotri. On reaching Gangotri, take a dip in the holy river Ganga, also known as Bhagirathi at its source.
Uttarkashi-Guptkashi In the morning after breakfast drive to Guptkashi. On the way you can see the beautiful Mandakini river at Tilwara. Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath, drive along the river to reach Guptkashi, visit Ardha Narishwar Temple at Guptkashi. Check in to hotel arrival in Guptkashi. Overnight stay in Guptkashi. Guptkashi-Kedarnath-Guptkashi Today after breakfast we will go to Kedarnath. You will have two options to reach Kedarnath. One by trekking and the other by air via helicopter (at own cost). After that go back to Guptkashi and have dinner and overnight stay at hotel (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner).
Guptkashi-Joshimath In the morning after breakfast enjoy drive to Joshimath. On the way, visit Visuprayag, Narasimha Temple in Joshimath, Karnaprayag and Nandprayag. Check into hotel arrival at Rudraprayag. Night stay will be in Rudraprayag. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner)
Joshimath-Badrinath-Joshimath Enjoy morning after breakfast, then drive to Badrinath. Reach Badrinath and have darshan, this is the reason why people worship Lord Narayana as the Lord of Badri-Badrinath. Situated at an altitude of 3133 meters above sea level, this temple is one of the Panch (five) Badri. The mountains are rising upwards as if determined to touch the heaven.
